216 1st Avenue Southeast, Cullman, AL 35055 Founded by trained chef Michael Locascio in 2023, The National is more than just a place to eat—it's a place to gather, to talk, and to build community. Food can take you places, and our menu is transportive. From the Louisiana Bayou to Music City, we’re bringing national flavors to Cullman. So grab a friend and come on by. The restaurant boasts unique spins on classic southern fare, from gussied-up shrimp and grits and Nashville-style chicken sandwiches to more complex dishes like chicken scallopini and 50-day aged steak; don’t be fooled, though, the menu offers a lot more than Alabama staples.
